	Television Personalities are quite possibly the finest cult band in the UK. Since forming in 1977, they have released 12 studio albums involving numerous changes in personnel centred around the constant figure of songwriter Dan Treacy. After a lengthy hiatus, the TVPs returned in 2004 - details here. Since 2011, the group have been on hold following Daniel Treacy's hospitalisation.
		In addition to providing general information about the TVPs, this site also attempts to build up a body of detail which explain the band's enduring appeal. Please note - this is an unofficial site which has no particular links with either the band or their record labels.
